The restored cars on “Gear GODs” were donated to Berry Store for an auction

The donation platform Berry Store will present the restored cars from the show “Gear GODS”, a new variety show about restoring second-hand cars airing on Discovery channel Korea starting from May 31st.

In the show “Gear GODs”, the four hosts will be divided in two teams and, after purchasing an old second-hand car, they will have to repair, restore it and resell it for the highest price.

Junhyung Park, famous for being a car lover, and Hongcheol Noh made two teams and, while the team of Junhyung Park and Leeteuk will reproduce the original vibe of the old car, the team of Hongcheol Noh and Shindong will try to transform the second-hand car in unique and use the unique charm so the competition will be fierce.

After the teaser and the poster of Gear Gods were revealed, they received a lot of attention within the related communities and Berry Store, who was able to receive the restored cars, is receiving a lot of interest.

Berry Store is a donation related platform with about 300K users. While getting rid of the previous donation culture that was stiff and difficult to approach, it’s aiming for Funation (Fun&Donation) where the users can have fun while donating.

Currently within the application it’s possible to obtain items from companies, celebrities’ favourite items, talents through Lucky Box and auctions. In addition, most of the profit from the donations and the sales get donated to the needy through affiliated welfare organizations.

The restored cars on Gear God will be auctioned on Berry Store and, other than that, it’s possible to find other unique items such as Yongdae Lee’s badminton racket, Taehong Min’s drawing etc.

Meanwhile, Gear God was broadcasted on May 31st (Tuesday) at 8 pm both on the OTT Discovery channel Korea and on seezn.
